x Fatshedera lizei (C.-Cochet) Guillaumin is a hybrid between Fatsia and Hedera which arose in the nursery of Lizé Frères in Nantes in 1910, said to be between F. japonica ‘Moseri’ and H. hibernica (Kirchner) Bean. This hybrid is sterile and has never been repeated. It is a sprawling shrub with wavy stems to 2.5m and greenish-white flowers, the anthers without pollen.
