Genista lydia Boiss. (Leguminosae) Native of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey, on rocks and screes, flowering in April-May. Deciduous shrub to 1 m, branches often arching downwards. Leaves 3-10 mm, linear-oblanceolate. Flowers in short racemes on side branches, 10-I2 mm long. Any well-drained soil; full sun. Hardy to -15°C. |
