Gaultheria hookeri C. B. Clarke (Ericaceae) Native of E. Nepal east to Yunnan, growing in forests at 2700-3000 m, flowering in May-June. Evergreen shrub to 1 m, with bristly-hairy branches. Flowers c. 4 mm long. Acid soil; shade. Hardy to -10°C.
