Juniperus monosperma Sarg. One-seed Juniper or Cherrystone Juniper Native to south-west United States and occasionally grown for ornament. Height to 9-15m (30-50ft). Flowers open in March. Fruit ripens to grey blue, about 0.6cm (Ľin) containing only one seed. Foliage shows both adult and juvenile types, the prickly juvenile eventually being lost by old trees. Z4.
