Lonicera japonica Thunb. Japanese Honeysuckle or Gold and Silver Flower Native of China, west to W. Hubei, of Taiwan, Korea and Japan and commonly naturalized in E. North America, in scrub and woods, flowering in May-July. Twining shrub to 6 m; flowers scented, 3-4 cm long. Fruit black. Any soil; part shade. Hardy to -20°C. Z4.
