Fallopia baldschuanica (syn. Polygonum baldschuanicum) Russian Vine or Mile-a-Minute A very large, twining deciduous climber that grows to 24ft (7m) tall, with large clusters of tiny, scented, creamy pink flowers that appear in late summer to autumn. Native to central Asia. Hardy to -20°F (-29°C), US zones 5–9. PLANTING HELP Excellent for covering ugly sheds but it can easily get out of control if not pruned back after flowering. Thrives in any good soil. |
