Phellodendron amurense Rupr., family Rutaceae Amur Cork-tree
Deciduous tree, native to China, including the Amur region. Height to about 15m (50ft). Flowers open in July, male and female on separate trees, similar to P. japonicum flowers, about 0.6cm (¼in) long, in erect clusters about
7.5cm (3in) tall. Fruits are about 1.2cm (½in) across. Leaves have 5-11 leaflets, which are hairless except around the edge and at the base of the main vein.
