Prunus x amygdalopersica Almond-peach A deciduous tree of spreading open habit that grows to 15ft (4.5m). Flowers, 2in (5cm) wide, borne in late winter or early spring. Leaves 2–4in (5–10cm) long. The fruit is like a peach but smaller and with dry flesh. Hardy to 10°F (-23°C), US zones 6–9. A hybrid between the almond and the peach first recorded in the early 17th century.
