Stephanotis floribunda (R. Br.) Brongn. (Asclepiadaceae) Madagascar Jasmine, Wax Flower, Bridal Wreath, Chaplet Flower, Floradora. A twining climber with opposite leaves and pure white wonderfully scented flowers, native of Madagascar, flowering in summer. Stems to 4m; leaves to 15cm long, usually around 10cm. Flowers 6cm long, waxy, fading to creamy white, in large clusters. A lovely and popular plant, needing warm humid conditions to thrive. Min. 15°C or less in winter if kept dry.
