Ulmus glabra 'Camperdown' Camperdown Elm. Commonly planted in European city and town streets, parks and gardens and also occasionally in north-eastern N. America. Height to around 12m (40ft) with distinctive tortuous growth and mushroom shape. Flowers and fruit are similar to U. glabra but show the zig-zag hanging twigs. Leaves are larger than U. glabra leaves, up to 20cm (8in) long and often more lopsided. Zone 5
