Verticordia pennigera Endl. A creeping shrub with pale pink flowers, feathery sepals and fringed petals, native of Western Australia, growing in rocky places, flowering in September–February. Shrubs to 1m across; leaves oblong, 2mm long, 0.5mm wide. Flower heads 1cm across. For dry well-drained sandy soil and full sun. Min. -3°C.
