Verticordia monadelpha Turcz. A low spreading shrub with needle-like leaves and masses of fluffy pale mauve flowers, native of Western Australia, growing in sandy heaths, flowering in October–November. Shrubs to 50cm tall, 2m across; leaves 1.5cm long. Flowers 1cm across. For dry well-drained sandy soil and full sun. Min. -3°C.
