Agapetes obovata (Wight) Hook. fil. A low spreading shrub with small obovate leaves and bell-shaped greenish flowers, native of Assam in Khasia Hills, flowering in February– April under glass. Shrub to 60cm high and wide; young stems bristly; leaves 1.4–1.8cm long, not toothed with 1–2 pairs of small glands near base. Flowers 5–7mm long. Min. 0°C.
