Brugmansia arborea (L.) Lagerh., syn. Datura cornigera Hook. (Solanaceae) Angel's Trumpet or Maikoa An evergreen shrub with fragrant white flowers, native of the Andes of Ecuador, Peru and northern Chile, growing at 3000–4000m, flowering from late spring–summer. Shrub to 4m. Leaves 15–30cm ovate, entire or coarsely toothed. Flowers 12–16cm long, nodding, tubular funnel-shaped; calyx spathe-like, often long pointed. Min. 5°C.
