Abeliophyllum distichum Nakai (Oleaceae) White Forsythia Native of C. Korea. A spreading shrub to 2 m. Flowers scented, in April or May. In cultivation it is best on a wall, where it gets extra heat to ripen the wood. There is a pink-flowered form in cultivation in the USA. Hardy to -20°C.
