Cordia boissieri A. DC. (Boraginaceae) A shrub or small tree with large evergreen leaves and small heads of white, yellow- and orange-throated flowers, native of Texas and Mexico, growing on dry rocky hills, flowering mainly in spring and autumn. Small tree to 6m. Leaves roughly hairy, to 15cm; flowers to 2.5cm across. For dry well-drained soil, with water in midsummer. Min. -6°C, for short periods. |
