Ceanothus foliosus Parry Wavyleaf Ceanothus Native of California from Santa Cruz Co., north to Humboldt Co., and in San Diego Co., with var. medius south to St Luis Obispo Co., growing in evergreen scrub below 1200 m in the coast ranges, flowering from March to May. Evergreen shrub to 1 m high. Flower clusters simple and to 2.5 cm long, or compound and longer. Hardy to -5°C.
