Cadaba aphylla (Thunb.) Wild (Capparidaceae) A leafless shrub with green succulent stems, native of South Africa in the Karroo and north to tropical Africa, growing in dry rocky places. Flowering in August-April (spring-summer). Stems cylindrical, to 2m. Flowers in umbel-like heads, about 10mm long, red or rarely yellow. For dry, well-drained soil. Min. 0°C.
