Crataegus laciniata Ucria Oriental Thorn Native of China, planted in Europe as an ornamental. Height to 45-6m (15-20ft). Flowers open in June, each about 2cm (3/4in) across, developing to fruit of about 2cm (3/4in) diameter, which ripen in October. Leaves are deeply cut, and downy on both sides but particularly underneath. Oriental Thorn bears few spines.
