Daphne bholua ‘Alba’ Evergreen shrub, fruit black. Min. -8°C for short periods.
Cultivation Grow in slightly acid, rich, moist but well-drained soil, in partial shade. Do not allow soil to dry out. Keep the base of the plant shaded, and apply a mulch to avoid disturbing the roots.
Height to 2m (6½ft); spread to 1m (3ft). USZ 9–11, surviving -6.5°C (20°F) of overnight frost. Needs water in summer.
